Olvera Street

I'm Jordan Cammie and I love to travel, however I'm a broke artist so my travel budget is none existent so what I decided to do along side my sister from another mister/best friend/flatmate is to go exploring our own  backyard right here in Downtown Los Angeles. You'd be surprised at some of the places we'll see and some of the beautiful things right here in California that we'll discover. Our first stop was Olvera Street.

Olvera Street had some amazing vendors who offered cool things like the ah-mazing  hat above. Did you know you that Olvera Street considered the birth place of  Los Angeles and is located in the oldest part of the city?

Olvera Street is filled with alley ways that house Mexican pottery, clothing, and food. It's almost like taking a trip to Mexico without the cost or leaving the country. Although, some people find it to be fake Mexico. The history behind Olvera Street is 100% percent authentic and dates back to the 1930's.

If you don't have the money to go aboard I encourage you to find places to visit in your own backyard you'll be surprised at the beauty you'll find right where you live.
